Video Resolution change?

I need something to resize my widescreen avi file to a fullscreen avi or wmv file with same or similar quality. How do you do this. i need a full program or something to do the whole thing not just part. also has to be free.

you just need a converting software it will convert your wide screen to fullscreen and ya not sure about the quality as it will depend upon the resolutions of the widescreen picture of your file......
