Specifically, how to take off parts of videos (i.e. take off the start and end segments of a video that i don't need)
i am not asking how to change the resolution.How do i crop video files?
It's supposed to be 'trim or split'. Crop wud change the resolution.
Use a video editing app, like movie maker (bundled w/ XP or Vista) as a starter.
- open wmm
- import or capture videos, pics, music to collection folder
- drag/drop imported files to timeline
split can be done in collection folder or in timeline
- play the video, pause at desired frame and click split icon below preview window. file is divided into 2 files
- do the same process on the file 2
- delete the parts u don't want
