Problems with spellforce 2?

ok i have spellforce 2 installed into my pc and have played it for some time. but its annoying how slow characters move and everything. its very slow... i tested my pc in systemrequirementslab.com, and said i could run it. ive tried to change the game video options but the resolution cannot be changed (the other things can be in minimum though). can you help me out with this?Problems with spellforce 2?
